Films released this week and why Hollywood is the dominant corporation in the film industry

Hollywood is the dominant corporation in creating films in contrast to other film corporations, the characteristics which contribute to their success is the way they use innovative CGI (computer generated images), use of famous individuals and big-budget marketing.

The amount of films that have been released this week are mainly hollywood which reinforces survey statistics that 9 in 10 films that are released in the UK are American. For example, a new animated film that was produced in America called 'Cloudy with a chance of Meatballs 2'.
