Production, Distribution, Marketing and Exhibition of Film industry

Production
Development is the first stage in production. The producer’s project will have an idea of a story which may come from a book, play, another film or even a true story he/she just found out. After having that sorted, the producer will then work with the writers to prepare a synopsis. After the synopsis, the storyboard is created which is a visualizing method that creates the shot sequence and what it should be. The producer hires a crew after the storyboard is set and the crew is about 14-16 people that helps to produce the film. Once the producer got the crew, the film will then be ‘Filming ‘.  After the film is made, it goes into post-production where the video/film/sound editor does their job, to edit the whole film out, add special effects and add sound track (music).
Distribution
Where the film is released to Cinemas or to consumer media such as – DVD, Blue-ray – or any other film website that allows the audience to watch at home such as Netflix/Lovefilm.

  • Using the TV adverts
  • Posters around the global
  • Trailers in Cinema before the film starts
  • Online Adverts on social networkings website
Exhibition
This is a way that target audience or normal audience can view films or read the reviews from other that have seen it or the trailer.
