Filming for the film began in late November till late December in 2011 in Cornwall and although its in the ruins in Ireland It Was Shot In England all together there was 52 hours of footage.

Technology wise they used a variety while shooting the film. The film was shot digitally using an ARRI Alexa Canon 7D and a Go Pro for some of the scenes which allowed them freedom during the shoot. DOP David Katznelson did some lighting work to keep the shots from looking too Sam-Y in the dark "We had variety even though we weren't lighting it heavily". After shooting the film "It was a complete nightmare" to edit as they never had a script to refer to as the director wanted a realistic approach to the actors reactions. ARRI lighting Rental (lighting equipment supplied), Sapex Scripts (post -production script services) and TLO Film Services (action vehicles) are the companies who helped to make the film possibly.

The film was first previewed on January the 2013 in Sundance London who's review was " Less is more in a brilliantly conceived and executed British horror movie". The film was showed in America and London at Sundance. Other than the Sundance, Film4 frightfest previewed it on the 25th of Auguest 2013. When it came to marketing In fear had a poster to get them started so the film would be established however as time went on the final poster previewed on the Empire website. A the Film4 fest  there was a Q & A session with the director and cast to engage the audience even further. Due to the fact In Fear is a low budget film their marketing availability is limited however they have there own Facebook page which has more than 600 likes and Studio Canal the advertise the film everyday on there twitter site with competitions which include people to win tickets to a very special preview of @bigTalk In Fear taking place November the 12th and free student preview on E4 Thursday 14th Of November. The BBC show also advertised a In Fear feature that they had done. Within the trailer which has over 87,000 views within the past month it advertises there website called www.InFearMovie.com  however the thrilling website starts of as www.sliceofparadise.info which is Ironic but after a few seconds it blackens out into the trailer by surprise. Later on In fear introduced different virais which ask questions such as "could you choose who will die" within each teaser trailer. Although the film is becoming more established each day the competition is fierce as on the same day premiers include 'The butler', 'The counselor' and 'Don Jon'.

Although the budget was low financing came about pretty quickly. "Very much so, yeah. I think again its a very low-budget film. So there's a point,  I mean its all done by mathematics and algorithms now, by marketing departments, and they look at what they can get and what they will spend,  and I think they looked at what we were asking for the way we were asking for the way we wanted to do it and they said "okay fine" that fits the model"

In Fear has had brilliant feedback and reviews such as "The best British thriller since the descent" - Daily Telegraph. "One of the best horror movies of the year" - Rotten Tomatoes, "A diverting,  mildly entertaining thriller" -Entertainment I.e, "genuinely gripped" - Mark Kermode, "An effective psychological thriller with a smart screenplay" - MovieScope even on their social people have commented "Must see this" and "Looks Really Good".

As of yet there are no awards except 'The Official Selection Of 2013 Sundance film festival' however the director Jeremy Lovering is nominated for 'Best Debuet Actor' at the 16th anual Moet British Independent Film Awards.
