Thor: The Dark World:
Thor: The Dark World began filming in summer 2012. The
director Alan Taylor and producer Kevin Feige bonded together to bring the fans
of the Marvel world a sequel to Thor. The sequel named Thor: The Dark World
stars Chris Hemsworth, Natalie Portman and Tom Hiddleston. The location for the
movie was filmed in Surrey Film set for
Thor: The Dark World at Bourne Wood, Surrey.
The director decided to use green screens and computer generated imagery to create scenes in the movie that look like this:
These effects have helped Thor achieved a great reaction with its audience. As it immerses its viewers within the world of the movie. The music in the movie also creates tension and emotions in each scene. The soundtrack to the movie was composed by Brian Tyler. The album was released digitally in the United States on November 5, followed by a CD release on November 12, 2013. It is the first soundtrack in the Marvel Cinematic Universe to feature the "Marvel Studios Fanfare".
The costume and design department help make the characters look the part. They are the people who dress everybody that you see in the movie. They also help with make up to make the "Dark Elves" look as real as possible.

Distribution:
The popular franchise of Thor has already developed a huge fan-base and this so how they distributed the new film to the public to get even more fans.
This allows Thor to achieve a good name by helping out with the race but it also allows them to advertise their movie in a different way instead of a normal banner.
This big budget movie has been able to work with $200 Million allowing them to increase their advertisement campaign.
Thor has also being marketed in social networks such as Facebook and YouTube; by advertising on Facebook more people will see that Thor is releasing a new film which creates more interest in the second movie. This encourages people to go see the movie in the cinema. Which gives the movie a higher gross. Thor has made $109.4 million worldwide already.
