Thor 2 is an American super hero action film which was
released on the 30th of October 2013 in the UK and scheduled to be
released worldwide on the 9th of November 2013.
Thor: The Dark World premiered at the Odeon Leciester Square in London
on the 22nd of October, 2013.

Thor 2 is produced by Marvel who released the first trailer for Thor 2 back in March 2013 and distributed by Walt Disney.
This movie was
produced by Kevin Feige and directed by Alan Taylor.
The main stars are Chris
Hemsworth as Thor, Natalie Portman as Jane Foster, Tom Hiddleston as Loki and
Anthony Hopkins as Odin and many more!

There are a lot of special effects such
as green screens used to add to the action/fantasy feel of the film.
At the
moment, this film is available only at the cinema in 2D and 3D in a variety of
nationwide cinemas such as Cineworld, IMAX and Vue.
It will also be available
on DVD, Blu ray, by next year.
It is a big budget film which has proven to be
very successful with the public so far as they made a huge $109.4 million
worldwide already.
One main reason why this film is so successful is due to
their marketing, they used a variety of marketing techniques such as posters,
trailers on YouTube, trailers before other films in the cinema, billboards and
many more.

This film is rated 12a so it is aimed at teenagers who enjoy action, adventure, fantasty films
and Marvel fans. They also had merchandise along with their advertising to
entice the fans, such as games, t shirts and comic books. This is ideal as many
action fans may like collecting and it would interest them into watching the
film.
